Agreement to Terms
By booking an appointment with SlayedbySarah, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined on this page. It is the client's responsibility to read all information provided. Booking an appointment constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Booking & Payment
- A non-refundable, non-transferable retainer fee (deposit) is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment
- The retainer is deducted from your final service balance
- The remaining balance is due in cash only on the day of your appointment
- We do not accept Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal for final payment
SlayedbySarah does not offer refunds or price adjustments under any circumstances. All retainer fees are final.
Rescheduling
- You must reschedule at least 72 hours before your appointment
- Rescheduling must be done using the link in your confirmation email
- One reschedule is allowed within 30 days of the original date, or to the next available month's calendar
- Rescheduling availability is not guaranteed
- If you are unable to reschedule within the allowed timeframe, your deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made via your confirmation email only. Cancellations made by phone, text, DM, or any other method will not be accepted.

No-Show Policy
- Clients who fail to show up for their appointment without prior notice will be charged the full service fee
- No-show clients are permanently banned from future bookings
- Please respect the time that has been reserved exclusively for you
Card on File Authorization
By booking an appointment, you authorize SlayedbySarah to keep your credit/debit card on file. SlayedbySarah reserves the right to charge the card on file for:
- Cancellation fees (as outlined above)
- No-call / no-show fees
- Any additional services rendered during your appointment
This authorization remains in effect until you submit a written request to cancel it.
Hair Drop-Off
- If your service requires you to provide your own hair, it must be dropped off before your appointment date
- Drop-off hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- Custom color work requires a minimum 4–7 day advance drop-off
- Lace units must be transparent/HD lace only — no Swiss lace, synthetic, or Amazon-sourced hair
Microlinks & Tape-In Services
A consultation and approval from SlayedbySarah is required prior to booking any microlink or tape-in service. Failure to consult before booking will result in automatic cancellation of your appointment. The retainer fee is non-refundable in this case.
Liability Waiver & Disclaimer
By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:
- SlayedbySarah is not responsible for any damage to your hair or extensions after you leave the salon chair
- Aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment — following them is your responsibility
- Please consult with SlayedbySarah before attempting to remove any installation
- You waive the right to seek legal action against SlayedbySarah and its respective service providers for illness, injuries, or damages arising from the services received
- It is the client's responsibility to inform SlayedbySarah of any allergies prior to the appointment
Communication & Consent
- By providing your phone number and email at booking, you consent to receive appointment confirmations, reminders, promotional offers, and other communications from SlayedbySarah via SMS and email
- You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP, or unsubscribe from emails via the link in any message
- Appointment reminders are sent 24 hours and 2 hours before your scheduled time
- Opting out of promotional communications does not affect transactional messages related to your appointment
